English translation
In Svala, Njurunda parish, Medelpad, a man had hanged himself in a spruce tree by the country road. One evening, when a woman with her son from a village named Källåsen in the same parish were driving along the road, they saw him on his way to the place. He was carrying a rope on his arm and was dressed the same as at the time in question.

I Svala, Njurunda socken, Medelpad, hade en man hängt sig i en gran vid landsvägen. En afton, då en kvinna med sin son från en by vid namn Källåsen i samma socken kommo körande å vägen, sågo de honom på väg till stället. Han bar ett rep på armen och lika klädd som vid tillfället ifråga.
