English translation
Here up at the manor, it was certainly haunted. Furniture was dragged back and forth at night, and things were not as they should be there; doors opened and closed, and there was thunder in the walls. In the guest room window, one could often see a light and a huge woman with a candle in her hand. A farmhand once tried to knock on the door but was thrown into the lilac hedge. In the manor pond, a child used to scream constantly. It was said to have been thrown in there and murdered. But it was a Finn named Rex who read it away.

Här uppe på herrgården spökade det allt. Möblerna dras fram och tillbaka om nätterna, och det är inte som det skall vara där, dörrarna öppnas och stänges och det dundrar i väggarna. I gästrummets fönster kunde man ofta se ljus och se en väldig kvinna med ett ljus i handen. En dräng ville en gång likväl knacka på, men blev kastad i syrenhäcken. I herrgårdstjärnen skrek förr ett barn för jämnan. Det skulle ha blivit kastat dit och mördat. Men det var en finne, som hette Rex, som läste bort det.
