English translation
My grandfather, Nils Andersson, from Kopparhags farm in Gräsmark, Värmland, was tormented by visions of spirits. He even saw the devil. Eventually, he had to go to the priest and consult with him. The priest took him to the church, broke up two floorboards so that one remained in between, and then let my grandfather crawl underneath it. After that, he saw no more spirits. The old man was born in 1797 and died in 1860. My mother told me this.

Min morfar, Nils Andersson på Kopparhags gård i Gräsmark, Värmland, plågades av andesyner. Han såg t.o.m. djävulen. Till sist måste han gå till prästen och rådföra sig med honom. Prästen tog honom med till kyrkan, bröt upp två golvplankor, så att en blev kvar emellen och lät så morfar krypa under denna. Sedan såg han ej andar mera. Gubben var född 1797 och dog 1860. Min mor har berättat detta för mig.
