English translation
In those days (the informant's grandparents' time) neighbors exchanged work, because there was no money to pay with. Father had received help from a farmer in Saxen with a bathhouse. This man died before he had managed to get the work in return. Just guess! One night the dead man came here to grandfather and scolded him, saying: "You owe me a bathhouse-piece too, you scoundrel." Grandfather hurried to do that work in return, and then he was free of the ghost.

På den där tiden (sagesmannens farföräldrars tid) bytte de ihop med arbetet, grannarna, för det fanns ej pengar att betala med. Far hade fått hjälp av en bonde i Saxen med en bastu. Denne dog, innan han hunnit få arbetet i stället. Jos, gisspå! En natt kom den döde hit till farfar och grälade på honom och sade: "Du är skyldig mig en bastukunt också, du din fähund". Farfar skyndade sig göra i stället det där arbetet, och sedan var han fri spöket.
