A Haunted Farm

There is a preacher in Gallsätter whose name is Lundblad. He is still alive. Some time ago, he told me the following: One day he was called to a farm here in Skog. This surprised him, as the people on that farm were not known to be religious. He was invited to stay there overnight, but he didn't think he had much to thank for afterward, as he barely got any rest during the night. As long as the light was burning, it was quiet and still, but when he extinguished the light, scratching and thumping started, as if from several people, and he felt his bedclothes being pulled. As soon as the light was lit, it became calm again. Each time he extinguished the light, the disturbance grew much worse than before. Finally, he knelt in bed, recited the Lord's Prayer, and committed himself into God's hand. After that, it became quiet. In the morning, the host asked if he had been left in peace during the night, so it seemed as if he was aware that it was haunted there. I was not told at which farm this occurred.
