English translation
My mother and another girl, when she was young, were out looking for the cows in Böleslia back home in Stigsjö. That place has long been a haunted spot, and especially a place called Svartdalen. The girls found themselves right there. So they started dancing on a smooth rock slab. But they didn't keep it up for long, because they got unexpected company. The most beautiful dance music started playing from within the bushes. They fled head over heels from there. Several people have heard this mysterious music in that place, and therefore the local population talks a lot about "The Svartdalen Psalm".

Mor min och en annan flicka, det var då hon var ung, gick och sökte efter korna i Böleslia hemma i Stigsjö. Den är sedan ålder ett spökhål och i synnerhet en plats som kallas Svartdalen. Flickorna befann sig just där. Så tog de till att dansa på en slät berghäll. Men därmed höll de inte på länge för de fick ett opåräknat sällskap. Det tog till att spela den allra grannaste dansmusik inifrån buskarna. De därifrån hals över huvud. Det är flera som hört denna mystiska musik på den där platsen, och därför talar befolkningen i trakten mycket om "Svartdalspsalmen".
