English translation
It was so long ago that Brandell, who is now in Nordingrå, was a priest here. Then Erik Olsson, who lived in Ramsås, died. It was said that there were spirits after him at night. But then his son went to Brandell, and after that, things were quiet, but no one ever found out what remedies he had received from Brandell.

Det är så länge sedan, att Brandell, som nu är i Nordingrå, var präst här. Då dog i Ramsås en som hette Erik Olsson. Det sades, att det var oknytt efter honom på nätterna. Men så gick sonen till Brandell, och sen lev det lugnt, men vad han fått för medel av B. fick ingen veta.
