That a vision of a supernatural kind could sometimes be good for something is shown by the following: It was about a vision that two men had one autumn night when they came to a farm to steal apples. But they had barely gotten inside the garden fence before all the windows in the house were illuminated by a peculiar light, which caused them to run away with the resolution never to steal again.

SynerAtt en syn av det övernaturliga slaget ibland kunde vara bra för något, framgår av följande:Så var det om en syn, som tvenne män hade en höstnatt, när de kommo till en gård för att stjäla äpplen. Men de hunno ej mer än inom staketet i trädgården, förrän alla fönstren i huset upplystes av ett egendomligt sken, vilket kom dem att springa därifrån med föresats att aldrig mer stjäla.
