The Trinity Spring at Sättna

Registered as L1935:6465 — källa med tradition, a spring with tradition. At Trefaldighetskällan in Sättna, people came on Trinity Sunday night, in the hours when the water was held to be strongest. They drank, they washed the sick part, and they left a coin. The practice is older than the church that gave the day its name, and the church tolerated it because it could not do otherwise. The spring is still there. So, sometimes, are the coins.
