English translation

As a child I was admitted to the orphanage here in town. That house was a real ghost nest. One day I was sitting in the infirmary. None of the adults were there. Then I saw a lady come from the directress's room. She was dressed in an old-fashioned way, that one. She stopped by one of the beds, where a little girl lay sick with consumption. In a moment she went out. - No sooner had the stranger left, than the girl had a hemorrhage and died, before any of the matrons could get in. I told what I had seen. However, no strange lady had been in to see the directress. It was merely a vision and a premonition of the girl's death.
