English translation
Over in Östavall there was a person who was a real terror. Her name was Stina Greta, nevertheless. Then she died, and several people have since encountered her. - My brother-in-law was staying on that farm for a while, and he complained that he couldn't get any rest at night. There was a lot of noise, and footsteps on the stairs, and doors slamming, and sounds from the kitchen stove, but there was certainly no living creature about at the time.

Borta i Östavall var det en människa, som var ett riktigt ohyre. Hon hette ändå Stina Greta. Så dog hon, och det är flera som ha varit ut för att träffa henne sedan. - Svåger min var där i gården ett tag, och han klagade över, att han inte fick någon ro på nätterna. Det bullrade och gick i trapporna och slängde i dörrarna och rustade i kokspisen, men det var väl inte någon levande varelse i farten då.
