Erik Isaksson in Rude died when I was about 15 years old. One moonlight evening, some time after his death, his wife heard someone knocking on the front door. She thought it was one of the neighbors who had come on some errand, and she went and opened it. Then her dead husband stood alive and well on the porch. She was so surprised that she didn't even have time to be scared, but exclaimed: "Lord Jesus. Is it you, old man?" He immediately disappeared and was never seen again.

Erik Isaksson i Rude dog, då jag var omkring en 15 år gammal. Hans hustru fick en månljus kväll någon tid efter dödsfallet höra, att någon knackade på förstudörren. Hon trodde, att det var någon av grannarna, som kom i något ärende, och gick och öppnade. - Då stod hennes döde man livs levande på förstubron. Hon blev så överraskad, att hon inte en gång hann bli rädd utan utropade: "Herre Jesses. Är de du, gubbe?" Strax försvann han och syntes aldrig mera till.
