A Heavy Corpse

It was perhaps a hundred years ago. There lived in Docksta then an innkeeper named Selander, and he was even the father of S., the "alnack-maker." When he was to be driven to the grave, two horses could not manage him, even though he was no heavier than an ordinary person. They pulled so hard that they became completely drenched in sweat. And then it was utterly impossible to fill the grave with earth. It was an open hole through which the soil ran down. All of this was, of course, believed to be because S. had not lived righteously and honestly. So the legend goes.
