English translation
-'A tall old woman went about here and scared people,' relates a smith. Many have seen her, and all were afraid of her. She was tall and flitted past when one least expected it. To see her was no good omen. At the manor house, it was haunted: roller blinds could go up and down, doors slam, lights move through the house, even though no one lived there, etc. The same was true at the new parsonage. The last priest, named Nils Åslin, is said to have haunted because he was not laid correctly in his grave, but had his feet facing west instead of east.

-'En långkäring for och gick här och skrämde folk; berättar en smed. Många har sett henne, och alla voro rädda för henne. Hon var lång och skymtade förbi, när man minst väntade det. Att se henne var intet gott omen.På herrgården spökade det: rullgardinerna kunde fara upp och ner, dörrar smälla, ljus röra sig genom huset, trots att ingen bodde där o.s.v. Samma var förhållandet nya prästgården. Sista prästen, som hette Nils Åslin, lär ha gått igen för att han inte blev lagd rätt i graven, utan fick benen mot väster istället för mot öster.
