Skuleberget
The Robbers' Cave

High in the cliff face of Skuleberget, the mighty mountain along the coast, a dark mouth opens in the stone. In the 1600s a band of robbers was said to live inside it, descending to plunder the villages below. The cave is empty now, by daylight. But the opening is large enough to hold more than stories, and the cliff does not answer when you call into it.
