The Scorched Stones at Fångsjöbacken

On 27 July 2013, a strange observation occurred at Fångsjöbacken along road 87, almost on the county line between Jämtland and Västernorrland. It was around 01:15 at night when the observer was driving home between Sollefteå and Bispgården. The observation involved not only an unusual object but also suspected burn marks found on a number of stones at the site. The observer experienced eye irritation and disturbances to the car radio during and after the sighting. A hissing sound came from a luminous disc.
